Over 480 security companies to participate at MIPS

Over 480 local and international security companies will participate at the 18th Moscow International Protection, Security and Fire Safety (MIPS) Exhibition. The event will take place on  24th – 27th April2012 in Moscow, Russia.

MIPS’ leading international participants include: Assa Abloy Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, Dahua, FLIR Commercial Systems BV, Fujifilm, Gielle Srl, HID, Hikvision, Honeywell Life Safety Austria, JABLOTRON, Milestone Systems, MOBOTIX, NEDAP Security Management, Southwest Microwave, plus many others.

National groups from 23 countries including Germany, China, UK and Taiwan have also confirmed their participation. This year, companies from China will represent 30% of the participants.

Over the past 18 years, MIPS has become the largest and most recognised security and protection exhibition in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It has become the traditional meeting place for local and international sellers, solution providers, installers and buyers to converge and discuss the latest developments in security solutions: CCTV and video surveillance, access control, alarms, fire-fighting and safety, IT security, smartcards and banking security solutions, and new for 2012 - industrial and personal safety.

Ilya Sobolev, International Project Manager, ITE Group states: “Russia has one of the largest consumer markets in Europe and offers generous non-offshore tax regimes for international security and fire safety companies. Also this year, the event attracts key international markets such as China and Taiwan, with an increased number of participants. With Russia’s recent access into the World Trade Organisation, now is the perfect time for participants to benefit from Russia’s fast-developing security market and new bilateral trade agreements with over 150 countries.”

A comprehensive conference programme will also take place alongside the MIPS exhibition. The programme will allow exhibitors and participants to interact with industry experts  and gain market insights on security solutions for transport networks, sports events, retail, construction projects, entertainment venues and payment systems.

Exhibitors wishing to participate at MIPS should contact Ilya Sobolev at ilya.sobolev@ite-exhibitions.com or call +44 (0) 207 596 5170.
